About Me

Just a young woman working in the beautiful Historic District of Downtown Sanford. I’ve been blessed for the last 7 years of working for a wonderful family in their German restaurant “Hollerbach’s Willow Tree Cafe”. I’ve recently been promoted and moved to their new endevour at “Magnolia Square Market” where we hope to share the experiance of a true German deli. It’s complete with an amazing Beer & Wine section, as well as the beginnings of a fantastic homebrew shop. We have a very talented Gluten Free Chef who’s fresh baked breads and decadent desserts are tempting to even the stauncest dieters.

Oh how exciting!!! I look forward to your new project 🙂 Your writing is very inviting and know you will probably get even better at drawing people in. Most of us don’t really need additional encouragement to stop by, but the blog will just make it harder for us to go through the day not distracted with our recent memories of fragrances making our taste buds cheer with delight. Not to mention the lovely staff and fun environment. So thanks! Thanks for delving up the cravings that distract us from focusing on anything else but the longing for Germany and the Willow Tree/Magnolia Market. 🙂 Glad you are near for sure!

Thank you Denise for all the wonderful compliments! I was a little hesitant at first about blogging but I’ve received such positive feedback from all my family, friends & guests I’m truly amazed. After working at the Willow Tree for almost 7 years it’s nice that when someone asks for 6 lbs of sausage, a case of their favorite German beer and those great beer glasses to go with it, we can say “YES! everything you want is available at Magnolia Square Market!”

Denise- I look forward to reading your upcoming installments.

I used to live in Germany and go to the Willow whenever the craving for good German food gets too strong. I am sure that your blog will bring all the good memories back.
